dollar jean days
Dollar Jean Day (sometimes referred to as Spirit Day) is typically the last Friday of every month. K-8 students have the option to wear jeans and a spirit shirt in lieu of the everyday uniform by paying $1. Dollars will be collected in the gym at morning drop-off.
Each month, the PTO will designate a charitable organization like Cardinals Helping Cardinals, Warm Heart Warm Hands, JDRF, Cancer Research centers, etc. to which the funds are donated. Prior to each Dollar Jean Day, we will announce the charitable organization that will receive the funds raised. During the 2023-24 school year, students raised over $9,000 on spirit days for charitable organizations.
Do you have an idea for a non-profit which could be a recipient of our Dollar Jean Day funds? Email ccaptochared@gmail.com and let us know!
