apparel
The Apparel Committee sources uniform vendors and creates new designs for spirit wear. They all organize the uniform swap during the open house.

Character Ed
Character Ed committee members assist teachers, to ensure each class has a coach to talk to students about the month’s character trait. They also set up speakers for Character Ed assemblies and select charities to be Dollar Jean Day recipients.

Community Building
The Community Building Committee does just what the name suggests: builds community in our school! Through events like Trunk or Treat, Holiday Hoops, and movie nights, our families have a chance to make connections and build long-lasting friendships. Our incredible community is one of the best things about our school family!

Dance
Our Dance Committee volunteers plan, organize and chaperone 3 dances each year for our middle school and some elementary school students:

Hospitality
Did you know the PTO provides coffee bars to our Cornerstone staff on every floor? Our Hospitality Committee ensures the coffee bars stay stocked and ready-to-go each week. The Hospitality Committee hosts an event for our Kindergarten parents after the first day of school drop off called “Tears or Cheers.”

fundraising
Our fabulous Fundraising Committee brings in funds which support all of our amazing programs and events! We focus on ONE fundraiser for the year: the Nest Egg Annual Fund.

Lunch
Our Lunch Committee is dedicated to providing affordable, quality hot lunch options to our Cornerstone students and families! Our hot lunch program is 100% volunteer run and directed. Our volunteers work with the vendors, manage inventory as well as distribute lunch orders to classrooms each day.

Social
Our Social Committee is responsible for planning our 2 largest, whole-school events: the Back-to-School Bash, and the Featherhead Showdown.
The Back-to-School Bash is a huge celebration to kick of the school year with inflatables, games, face-painting, food trucks and more!
The Featherhead Showdown is an annual Staff vs. Students basketball game. It is always lots of fun for all ages!

HS Social
CCA High School Social Committee is focused on offering our high schoolers plenty of opportunities to engage with their peers and have a fantastic
high school experience.
We encourage help from parent volunteers as well as students and faculty in organizing more HS activities throughout the school year like back to school pool party and Fall Fling. More suggestions are welcome and encouraged!

Who deserves to be appreciated more than our amazing staff? Our Staff Appreciation Committee makes sure our staff knows how special they are with catered luncheons, treats throughout the year, and whole week dedicated to celebrating them and more!

LIBRARY
The Library Committee Volunteers help the Library Staff with the AR (Accelerated Reader) prize incentives, Book Cart, Author Visits, Book Fairs, and Book Wrapping.
STAFF SUPPLIES
The Staff Supplies Committee manages the staff supply cabinet and helps teachers with grant request paperwork for additional item requests.
