Character Education is one of the 3 central pillars at CCA-CFA and is fundamental in the development of our leadership culture for our school community. Our Character Education program teaches students at all grade levels the meaning and benefits of positive moral virtues and ethical decision making through a monthly character trait or leadership habit. School-wide service projects give students, families, community members, and teachers the opportunity to work side by side to put the virtues into action and have an impact beyond the walls of the school.

In order to effectively implement our Character Education program, we need Character Ed Coaches for every K-8 classroom. A Character Ed Coach is a parent who commits to teach a character ed lesson once a month in their child’s classroom. Character Education lessons are taught Wednesday mornings from 7:45-8:15 and all lessons are prepared by our Character Ed Committee.

Our students love to see parents in the classroom and parents tell us what an honor it is to model these character traits and speak words of truth and encouragement into the lives of our students.
